So this morning I decided to try drying strawberries. Yesterday I asked my parents if I could borrow their fruit dryer because no frills was having a sale on strawberries. So we got 4 500g boxes of strawberries and with half of them I made strawberry jam. Mmmmmm jammmmmmm... and the other half I started drying this morning. The instructions say they are going to take 6 to 12 hours to fully dry but the hard part is done; cutting the strawberries up. Now I just wait and soon we will have nice dried berries for breakfast.
