So the weather has been a little crazy this weekend so far. We had massive flooding at the subway and the wind has been insane. Sadly it comes as an inopportune moment for my garden.
Just last week is was really nice so I decided to move my grapefruit tree and ginger plant out tlonto the balcony to get some more light. This seems to have been a mistake since the wind basically hammered them really badly. I had to bring the ginger in because I was worried about it dieing. The grapefruit is still out there but that may also have been a mistake as most of the leaves at the top were blown off. The lower leaves were protected by the glass side of the balcony and the really young leaves at the top seem to have survived.
The rest of the plants seem to be okay. Two tomato plants were bent over at a 90 degree angle but they bounced bad by morning
